Temporary Skilled Graduate Visa Subclass 485
Temporary Skilled Graduate 485
The Temporary Skilled Graduate Visa Subclass 485 is designed for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian institution and wish to gain practical work experience in the country. It has two streams: the Graduate Work stream and the Post-Study Work stream. The Graduate Work stream allows graduates with skills and qualifications related to occupations in demand to stay and work in Australia for up to 18 months.
The Post-Study Work stream, on the other hand, enables graduates with higher education qualifications to stay for a longer period, ranging from two to four years, depending on the level of their qualification. This visa provides valuable post-study work rights, allowing individuals to gain professional experience and potentially qualify for permanent residency in Australia. To be eligible, applicants must have completed their studies in Australia and meet health and character requirements.
