CANADA EXPRESS ENTRY PROGRAM

The Express Entry system is a popular and efficient way for skilled workers to immigrate to Canada. It was introduced in 2015 to fast-track the process of selecting and admitting skilled workers who can contribute to Canada’s economy.

The Canada Express Entry Program is a points-based immigration program for professionals looking to settle in Canada. It awards points to candidates based on skills, experience, Canadian employment status, and provincial/territorial nomination.

All applicants who have submitted a profile in the Express Entry System are placed in a pool of candidates.

The Express Entry runs three federal economic programs to support candidates with different skills and experience to settle in Canada:

• Federal Skilled Worker (FSW): Stream for skilled workers who hold foreign work experience.

• Federal Skilled Trades (FSW):For skilled workers who hold expertise in a skilled trade.

• Canadian Experience Class (CEC): Suitable for skilled workers who hold Canadian work experience.
